Columbia College Women Gallery Talk: American Boricua

On November 13th, I moderated a conversation between photojournalist Wanda Benvenutti and Columbia University professor Frances Negrón-Muntaner on Benvenutti’s photo exhibit “American Boricua” for Columbia College Women and their Gallery Talk series.

The conversation featured an exploration of Puerto Rican life in the U.S. and the significance of this exhibition and its representation of Puerto Ricans for journalism at-large.

The event was held at La Sala De Pepe y Foto Espacio in New York City’s Lower East Side.
